HOLOPHONIX Native
The Power of HOLOPHONIX Available within a Native macOS App
Version 2.4.0
Ready for Use in Live Sound and Studio Applications
The HOLOPHONIX Native software is primarily intended for composers, artists, sound engineers, and polymorphic creatives, who want to produce, compose, and spatialize sound material for a small number of loudspeakers in the studio, live or through headphones in binaural mode.
Only the Number of Outputs has a Limit
The software offers an almost unlimited number of spatialization buses and virtual sources. The only limitation is the number of physical output channels, which is limited to 16.
All-in-one Immersive Audio Solution
HOLOPHONIX Native is a complete solution for advanced object-based audio processing, designed to meet the needs of the most demanding audio professionals. It offers the widest range of algorithms on the market, based on the latest technologies in spatial audio research. HOLOPHONIX Native enables the creation of truly immersive three-dimensional environments, seamlessly extending the sonic scene into true 3D.
Object-Based Mixing for a Wide Range of Applications
The software is currently utilized in a multitude of audio applications, including live performance, recording, broadcast, sound design for film, music, theatre, and gaming, as well as AR/VR production and binaural audio. It also supports digital art, scientific research, and immersive experience installations, providing advanced tools for creating high-fidelity and dynamic soundscapes.
All Legendary HOLOPHONIX Algorithms Included
The HOLOPHONIX Native application offers an unlimited number of user-defined virtual sources and spatialization algorithm buses, providing unparalleled capabilities in the creation of complex audio environments.
True 3D Reverb Engine
The HOLOPHONIX Native application includes an immersive 3D algorithmic reverberation engine with object-based simulation and independent control of direct sound, early reflections and late reverberation parameters. The application offers automatic level adjustment based on source positioning and distance, based on perceptual distance studies. This system encompasses both the control of acoustic propagation parameters for virtual sources and reverberation simulation parameters. Each spatialization bus is associated with a reverberation bus adapted to the spatialization format.
Ergonomic Audio Effects
HOLOPHONIX Native offers a comprehensive range of useful equalization and dynamic audio effects at various stages of the signal path. Thus, it can be used as a standalone software solution, from calibration to creation, from input to output.
Infinite Loudspeaker Layouts
HOLOPHONIX Native supports free loudspeaker positioning for any custom configuration, and can be configured to standard output formats for recording automatic performance downmixes.
It supports ITU channel-based configurations, Ambisonics scene-based formats (from first to seventh order), and is compatible with various Ambisonics decoding software and VR applications such as YouTube VR and Facebook 360.
Binaural Monitoring
A binaural algorithm has been developed to help engineers and producers prepare their production using a conventional pair of headphones. This enables them to experience a full 3D image of their mix, and to design sound object trajectories. Furthermore, the processor incorporates approximately one hundred head-related transfer functions (HRTFs) in the SOFA file format,
The head-related transfer function (HRTF), also sometimes known as the anatomical transfer function (ATF), is a response that characterizes how an ear receives a sound from a point in space. The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has defined the SOFA file format for storing spatially oriented acoustic data like head-related transfer functions (HRTFs).
